Syracuse, N.Y. — The historic but shuttered Hotel Syracuse was seized by a city agency today and flipped within hours to a developer who is planning a $57 million renovation of the former grand lady of Central New York hotels. The Hotel Syracuse built in 1924, has been abandoned since 2004. The last of the three great hotels in downtown Syracuse, developers have come and gone and the hotel sits empty.
