A local hotel is celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of Hollywood’s most beloved films: “Pretty Woman.” The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where many of the film’s scene were filmed, is celebrating the milestone by giving guests the “Pretty Woman” experience. “Why not create something that really celebrates it and enables our guests to kind of book something and sample a little bit of the experience?” asked Ben Trodd, the general manager of the hotel. Trodd showed KCAL9’s Brittney Hopper the luxurious presidential suite, where guests will stay, which is the same room seen in the movie. “It’s great fun. This isn’t something that we take too seriously,” Trodd said. The hotel is offering several packages to choose from. The packages include a variety of activities similar to the movie, such as a personal shopping consultation on Rodeo Drive, a shoeless picnic at Greystone Mansion and spending the evening at the L.A. Opera. The packages will be available all year long and cost from $15,000 to $100,000.
